I think you and your husband are both angels for wanting to adopt a child and give him or her a loving home. Love knows no race or color.

I think it's amazing to give a home to a child who doesn't have one. If you love the child, race does not matter. I volunteered for an adoption agency, and I know that minority babies or kids with development problems often stay unadopted, so if you want to adopt a minority child, you should do it.

I think your intentions are really great. Every kid should get a chance at a good life. I have never adopted a child, so this is all pure opinion and no fact but, I think adopting is something to be done with caution and planning. If you adopt a baby, when and how will you let it know, if it looks differently than you, you have to be prepared for kids to make fun of you child that sort of thing... I'm sure youve thought of all this. I also would try and spend as much time with potential children you might adopt as possible before you adopt them (not sure that sentence reads correctly) get to know the kid you adopt before adopting him or her if you are allowed. I personally would not be strong enough to undertake adopting a child (i don't think). But thats awesome you want to! I would say go for it if you 100% sure and ready!

I think that any baby that gets adopted regardless of skin color is a good thing I think its even more beautiful that you want to adopt a baby that is labelled unadoptable. Keep it up your doing great. There may be some cultural issues but if you want to put in the effort you can span over them.

Nowadays the world is getting really small. The races are mixed.
I dont see a problem with it. Myself, I am black and my child has green eyes and blond hair. So I dont see anything wrong with it.
But if you are really interessted in adopting a minority - think of all the older children outthere. They could really need a home, those are real unadoptable ones.
Good Luck

Adopt whatever you want. Race should not matter. Any child that needs a home would be happy to have you. And anyone who will adopt an unadoptable child is a Godsend. You will be greatly rewarded in life and after for it. God Bless You!!

Its up to you darlin. No, I dont think that race should be a factor in adopting. But if you mean unadoptable by means of disabled, then you are in for stresses.
What do YOU want is the answer.

I think that yes, you are going to turn some heads and raise some eyebrows by creating a "mixed" family, but honestly you and your husband should do what you feel is the best thing for your family. I think it's great that you're interested in adoption! Just realize the responsibilities involved and I wish you luck!

I think you have to go with what suits your family. I don't think people should stick to that belief to only adopt the race they are. We are a multicultural society. We have to embrace that. I think that mixed families are great and it makes the world more interesting. I admire families that adopt children of a different culture. It shows that they are worldly, loving and willing to give a child a chance at a great life.

You are the reason so many children can be happy. I think you should do exactly what your heart says. You know it is the right thing to do- so do it! I think it is completely fine to adopt minorities- it shows you care. Good luck, and I'm sure you will be a great mother, and your husband will be a great father as well.
