A friend got permanent hair removal for her bikini area, it is done with laser, it is not too expensive, but she just broke up with her boyfriend and we are wondering, is it too weird for a woman to be complete hair free "down there"??? how is she going to tell a new boyfriend she is hair free??? IS IT OK FROM A MAN POINT OF VIEW OR IS IT A TURN DOWN??? HELP!!!!
She has done 2 sesions of laser, the hair is groing very thin and is almost gone, the woman at the SPA sais that if she stops now, the hair will grow a little.

i dont think that it is weird at all...lots of women shave and wax and im sure that lasers hurt alot less so why not?! as from a mans point of veiw..my husband thinks that is way cleaner and prefers it that way..as for the new boyfriend...dont even bother telling him...im sure he will find out in his own time...:)chances are if he even has an opinion about it...it will be about how much he likes it!!

From what I've found only laser hair removal is not "permanent hair removal" it is classified as "permanent hair reduction" meaing that it is known to take away roughly 90% of the hair give or take 10%, so you can safely assume that it will take away 80% or more of the hair. There are a few factors that will determine the success of the treatment. The first is amount of hair. The second is the density of the hair (thickness of the follicles). The third is your skin tone. Unfortunately, some skin tones (usually darker) can be more resistant to laser treatment and may require more treatments than a skin tone that is more receptive to the treatment. A well trained professional should be able to take off both the brown thin hair and the black thick hair. It may not take only one treatment however. Laser hair removal Your skin care professional should be able to tell you how many treatments it will take to remove all the hair. From the website I used here is the pricing i found Regular bikini - $150-450 (definition at each clinic is different – ask!) Brazilian bikini - $250-500

Usually laser hair removal is permanent. I heard most men think no hair down there is sexy. Why? I honestly don't know, but I've read about it. Some women even have all but a small strip down the middle removed. It's called a "landing strip" sorry just being honest. Hope this helps.

I might think it's a bit odd, but some guys like it a lot. It depends on the fellow. And why should she tell a new boyfriend she is hair free? If they get to a pt in their relationship where he'd see she's hair free and he asks, all she has to say is, "I had it lasered off." No big deal at all. She shouldn't be skiddish about it, it's her own hair.

Electrolysis and laser hair removal are “permanent” hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

it doesn't matter. the cleaner the better. with or without bf, you're suppose to stay hair free down there. prevents you from having bad odor.

It's a turn on for men to know that you're hairless. It just feels a lot better. And looks better when you wear skimpy panties.
