Whole wheat or rye bread with lots of vegetables. Spinach, red onions, olives, peppers, and the like are always good. Sun Chips are good, but celery and carrot sticks are better for you.

I give my kids natural peanut butter and banana on wheat. I like it too! Also, hummus and bean sprouts and tomato on pita are good. And I love pita chips for snacking. They are almost better than potato chips!

My mid-morning snack is 1 piece of whole wheat bread, one slice of deli ham, 1 slice of provolone or American, and a squirt of grainy mustard. Fold over and eat. Sometimes I nuke it for 15 seconds.
