Rebif is for Multiple Sclerosis and I was told that the drugs are all pretty similar, and told by another that Rebif has been shown to be the most effective, just wanted to know not from a drug company if there are studies showing this or what other have heard.

Each drug manufacturer will tell you that their drug does the job. Not a single one will tell you that their drug does a better job than another drug. Seriously, look around at all the adverts for the individual drugs. You'll find that they all tout their own studies showing that their drug is effective, but not a single one puts itself up against one of the other drugs. From my own neurologist (not from a drug company), all the drugs are indeed proven to help. They all reduce the amount of T2-enhanced lesions, they all slow the progress of the disease, extending the time between relapses, and they all reduce the severity of the relapses when they occur. You need to find the drug that's going to work for you and your lifestyle.

Bottom line, there has not been a single study which shows that one drug is better than another at treating MS.

You also have to consider the risks associated with the drugs. There is slightly more risk using an interferon than using the synthetic, because of the potential of complications such as flu-like symptoms, potential liver problems and eventually immunity to the drug. While the synthetic does not produce these same side effects, it has to be taken daily and can cause localized site reactions. Some people have pretty severe reactions to the synthetic and have to use an interferon.

Work with your neurologist to find the drug that best fits your lifestyle and your needs.

Is that a spelling mistake...I dont know what rebif is and the only connection I can find for it is related to MS, but this would not make your question any more logocal. Please add some details...;
