It depends. Is there an even number of both? If so, I would say that atheists have a better probability, because the Christians will make a good percentage of their population combat ineffective. Some percentage of the Christians would dedicate their entire time to praying. Other Christians would be simply caught up in the internal conflict of "thou shalt not kill" and still some would start fighting within the Christian sects for reasons like they would interpret the reason for the war to be some other divine reason beyond its direct intent (a la Fred Phelps protests of Christian soldiers' funerals because he believes the Iraq war is God's punishment for supporting the gay agenda). The athiests would have less to fuss over and most of that discussion would focus on which scientific principle would maximize their destructive effectiveness.
However, if they were represented in percentages as they are in the current population, it wouldn't be shocking if Christians won by overwhelming force, much like it is not shocking when a person is killed by a swarm of killer bees.

Triple the number of Christians? If you are talking about worldwide (which is a safe assumption to make), then it would be closer to double the number of atheists (agnostics included). If just calculating the numbers in America, then it's nearing 7.5 times the atheists.
Also, it depends on what topic they are fighting over. If you are refering to a physical war, then of course they would win by the mere fact that there are one billion MORE Christians than atheists.
By the way, I disagree with the "Christians are idiots" question. Not all Christians are retards, just like not all atheists are smarter than everyone. Sheesh.

Let's say it's a war of words. Well, first off, in order to avoid bloodshed, both sides will pick a champion, and a second, incase the champion drowns in flopsweat. Following the heated debate, which, I assure you, could last up to a year to five years, considering all the evidence that must be presented, whoever is not happy with the upshot of the debate, and whoever is still hanging around to find out the Truth, they may then duke it out, using the Queen's Rules. (no hitting below the belt, no sucker punches, et al), and if, after the fisticuffs is over, which I estimate would probably last less than ten minutes, due to the shabby state of their physical conditions, since both sorts of people tend to be thinkers rather than doers, anyone thereafter could...oh, never mind. It's not worth it.

There is a thought to ponder. I honestly don't know. Even if we lost the war, God could use that to save many people. You see, God works in mysterious ways. Don't ask me how, because the wisdom of God is too much for me to understand, but I would hope that Christians would win.
