the perpous of dating is to find someone you would like to spend the rest of your life with, aka, marrage. At 15 i ma sure you are not looking for someone to marry. Its great to have male and female freinds, but dating is not necessary. At 15 you should be focused on your studies and not on guys, which really just distract your attention ffrom really matter at this age. When you finihs highschool, you are more mature and you understnad more the purpose of dating. I recommend you tell her that it will be hard, but in hte end she will not regret it. Warn her of all the problems out there now and how dating is really just looking for someone you want to spend your life with, not someone to fool around with. Eplain to her the huge problems of now adays and that pressure really can be very hard. Let her know of the concequences of poor actions and inform her how much you care about her and just wnat the best for her. Remeber though not to just mention al the negative stuff to fooling around at such a young age, but to inform her of all the good that can come from waiting. Have a great day :)

Kids these days are growing up(or think they are) way too fast. I have a daughter who is 13 and it scares me to death that something will happen(pregnancy) or worse(std). I got pregnant from my first sexual encounter and I never let her forget it. My mother marched me to the clinic and to this day I regret what I did. I am very thankful that I got a second chance at another child. I tell my daughter the truth and explain how boys can be so persuasive and dishonest just to have sex. Hopefully what happened to me will show her what not to do. I wish you luck. Have a heart to heart with your sis. Tell her it is not time yet.Soon, but not now.

It sounds to me like your 15 yr old sister hasn't got alot of other fun stuff to do to keep her mind off of the opposite sex. So might i recommend some quality fun times to maybe show her that there is more to life than just reading the bible and listening to the preacher.
Take some time to get into gods country enjoy what he has given us.
1.) Camping on a float trip
2.) Skiing on the slopes
3.) Fishing and swimming at the Lake
4.) Hiking the Mountains just outside of Town
5.) Enjoying the peace and tranquility of just getting away

Your parents are trying to be overly protective by virtue of their beliefs which I understand..However your parents need to talk to your sister explain the pitfalls and dangers, pros and cons then trust the kid to make the right decision. If your parents did the right thing by their kids, trust them talk to them be honest with them and treat them like humans rather than possessions, I think most young people will do the right thing for themselves. what's that saying I am sure your heard "Bring up a child in the way they should go and they will not depart from it" All young people are good people they just need guidance and a little nurturing..They'll grow up alright and do the right thing..Neglect of young people is usually the root of all problems..in my opinion! Never met a kid I didn't like and can always see the good in them..Good Luck to your sister, your folks and you..

16 is a pretty good number. Getting caught making out is another thing though. If she is getting caught at that, there is probably worse happening when she knows it is safer.
There are some great stats here: http://www.teenpregnancy.org/
Getting pregnant when you are not ready really messes up your whole life. See even atheists can think the same thing.

I'm a father of two daughters. I tell them they cant start dating until they are ready for commitment. I know it wont end up that way but if I set my standards high they wont start as soon. Its working with my older daughter but my younger one will be more of a challenge. I think it is a lot harder for single parents. Girls that don't have a positives relationship with their fathers tend to drift into the arms of a guy looking for what they are not getting from ther father.

How many teen girls in the U.S. get pregnant each year?
Seven hundred and fifty thousand (750,000) teen girls get pregnant each year. Thirty-one percent of young women get pregnant at least once before they turn 20. Each year the federal government alone spends about $7 billion to help families that began with a teenage birth.
There is a huge amount of information on the below website. Hope it helps your sister, you and your family. God Bless you for taking action to help your family.
