Do you have a theory to explain how the organisms billions of years old are extremely simple, hundreds of millions of years old are more complicated, tens of millions of years old are even more complicated, and thousands of years old are extremely complex?

Although you may disagree with evolution, do you feel that this fits within evolutionary theory or do you feel it does not?

I'm sorry, of course I mean Christians who believe in young earth. I know not all Christians ignore evolution.

Yes. When God was creating earth it was in 7 days. That does not mean it was in the same speed as we know today. If the world was being created in hyper speed within the 7 days the results would still be what appeared to be millions of years of evolution. But the point of religion is not to seek such answers, it's based on FAITH. The point is to believe in what can't be seen, that might be why the world was created the way it was. If there was proof that the world was created the way the bible says or that God existed, where would faith come in? A true Christian would pass up the opportunity to see evidence that Jesus is the son of God because we don't need to see it to believe.

How do we know how old something is? Is it that everything started with something simple and grew more and more complex or is it that everything was already in place (simple and complex together)?
Sorry to answer with questions, but...
Do you think that we started out as one cell and grew into many?
If so, have you ever seen the approximate number of cells in living organisms? It doesn't exactly go from simple to complex. To exaggerate, it would be like aspiring to become a fern or something.
Evolution sounds like more of a belief than anything. To start. What would form first in a human? The blood, or the vessels that carry it? The nerves, the skin? What would come first? Once fully formed, you would have to have 2 just poof up out of nowhere and be in the same spot on this big earth. And of the opposite sex!!! Then they would have to have sex. How would they know what sex is? How would they figure it out? Where would the desire even come from? Did the desire "evolve" from something? Why would they even have sex for the purpose of having kids? I would think that it would go against the survival of the fittest. I mean, now you have to protect the kid, feed it, teach it, etc. Right?
I'm sorry, but I once "believed" in evolution. I even tried to mesh it in with christianity. But now, I have realized that it is just another religion in and of itself since you have to believe in the assumptions made to buy into it. There are certain types of evolution that are true, like micro evolution (variation within a species). However, macro evolution is not provable (you will never see a catdog except on a cartoon).
To me, evolution is like finding a candle in a room and trying to decide how long it was before it was lit. You would have to assume when it was lit and if you measure the rate of burn, you would also have to assume that it (the rate) is constant.

I am a Christian and have studied evolution, and if you will open your heart you will see that these can exist together. Scientific advance is only an opportunity to research the great gifts and beauty the Lord has left for us. If you will look at Genesis 1 and 2 as seperate events with time spanning between them, evolution is perfectly possible.

God Bless you!

Whoever said evolutuion could not have occured -

You are right, God did build all of the organisms as they are today. In fact, by the times humans were created his plan executed in such a wonderful manor that humans could flourish on the planet alongside all of the beautiful life he had created. If you will look at the timeline of evolution it really is a beautiful thing.

If I were a biologist, paleontologist or at least an elementary school teacher I'd come up with some theory thus making you happy. This US's invention of pitting evolution against faith makes me laugh. The Bible is not a text book, therefore it doesn't bother with developing a theory. That what science is for.
BTW, I'm a believer (churched, tither and all) and not a creationist at all, not even a bit.

Careful with the complexity thing. A more complex organism is not necessarily newer or even better adapted than an older one; one needs to look no further than viruses or the fact that the cephalopod eye is more efficient than the mammalian one for examples.

Just playing Devil's Advocate here, my friend.

i might agree that silly comments are made oftentimes by using Christians yet additionally by using a few on the different edge of the subject who've on no account opened themselves as much as the possibility that the different edge could have some thing credible to grant. i might advise some books The Icons of evolution by using Jonathan Wells and Darwin strikes back by using Thomas Woodward. i might disagree with Yuri's remark. who's to return to a call what could or shouldn't stay interior of non secular context. technology is meant to be approximately following the information anyplace it leads. that's complicated to do in case you have made an a priori dedication to disallow the potential of a God being in contact. i might additionally prefer to function that there is greater suitable than one theory of evolution and at circumstances that is been bitterly disagreed upon by using those protecting the fairly some postions. at circumstances i ask your self whether some all of us is attentive to that actuality. De bossy tclaims that Christians prefer to coach clever layout so as that they are in a position to someway indctrinate babies with the gospel. this may well be a general scare tactic utilized by using those on the unwitting public to attempt and close off any thinking of their puppy theory. So what we are left with is babies being indoctrinated by using a sysytem so inflexible it can't tolerate being puzzled. (jogs my memory of ways some fundamentalists have behaved at circumstances). extreme thinking is ever found out by using coaching basically one edge of a debate. you could coach clever layout theory with out attempting to call who that God could properly be. i does not choose technology type became right into a non secular debate the two. whether to easily say some have confidence a God must be the dressmaker does not violate separation of church and state. The state isn't endorsing a church yet purely for the sake of freedom of suggestions the considered the potential of a God as a philisophical and logical possibility.

What exactly do you mean by "intelligent answers only?" Don't you mean answers that you agree with?

1. Life is not billions of years old.
2. Even if it were, there were always (and still are) simple and complex life forms living side by side and interdependantly.

Even if we accept your timescale, where's your evidence that older life forms are simpler? I'd genuinely like to see your evidence.

God can create organisms and animals and people aged. For example Adam, was he a man or was he a baby or was he an embryo...

I believe in evolution, I just do not believe that we evolved from monkeys.

If you understand the Book of Genesis as it is meant to be written, then you will know that evolution could not have occured. God built all the creatures and humans as they are today.

Here is my intelligent theory: when you do not know the answer just cop out, with an "I do not care!" And I am a Christian and I do not care. Everyday same thing evolution vs. creation. Do you really thing you are going to change minds. NOBODY CARES EXCEPT YOU!!!!! It is hardly the point. Accept God, accept Christ as your Savior. Now that is the point.
