As a child in the 70s and 80s mostly I sat in the front room playing with lego, meccano, toy cars, reading lots of books cause there was no TV until I was in my teens, Playmobil, ActionMan,card games, board games and listening to the radio. My dad would take the family on long country walks and we went to church every Sunday. A lot of spare time was occupied with visiting relatives, using public transport. I had swimming lessons as a child which at that time I misenjoyed, only discovering later that I was allergic to chlorine.I guess that leisure will vary from person to person dependant on how well off their families were. At that time money was quite tight in ours and only later became available. Does this answer help you even slightly or were you after something specific? Also did you mean for the kids or the grown ups?
