Accepting Jesus is not just a free ticket to heaven. It cost Him His life to save us. When we accept Christ, the old is gone and we are made new. Yes, we still have a choice to sin, but if we really are born again, our choice would be to follow Him. Granted we will not always do what He calls us to do perfectly, but remember, grace is free, but not cheap. He died for me, so I could live for Him. Saying we are sorry does not make us forgiven- Christ's death does that, and also repentance on our part- turning away from willful sin, and serving the Lord that is our Savior.

Accepting Jesus is all about trust. If He instructs you to live a certain way, to "willingly" disobey means you don't trust Him as the instructor of your life. And why shouldn't you after all he has done for you? If you want to know If Jesus forgives you for something, He's the one you have to ask about that.

As a sinner you will never be able to always follow every instruction to the letter but if you repeatedly sin and do not repent ,care,or even try to change then maybe you won't go to heaven but no one knows these things accept Jesus and God.

You should read the book by Dr. Charles Stanley Eternal Security. Are you sure? The bible says that you most be holy because He is Holy. If you willingly disobey Him, why should he allow you in. You will see the Holy City from far like Moses he saw the promise land from far but was not allow to go into.

Yes, once you are saved, you are always saved. God is a forgiving God, but you must be willing to accept his forgivness in the first place. Believe it or not, some people have a hard time for this. They believe that they must do something more in order to be forgiven, but all you really have to do is ask.
Have a nice day :-)

i think(or at least hope) you are forgiven for your sins (i.e. not following his teachings) if you truely belive in him. But I get the idea that people who know a lot more about the bible then me would tell me (or you) that you have to TRUELY accept him (part of which is following all his teachings) as your savior to get into heaven. Hope it helps:)

choosing not to follow His ways is rebellion- The Bible talks about the rebellious heart. Whether one goes to heaven or not is between them and God but I have my suspicions. We all make mistakes and fall short- none of us follows perfectly, but there is a distinct difference between wanting to follow and messing up and choosing not to follow.
In the end, it is going to be the attitude of the heart that makes the difference- a humble , repepntent, teachable and correctable heart is what God desires. There will be no place for the hardened, un repentent, unwinlling and unteachable heart.

That is up to God.
I personally believe that if you choose to follow Christ, the Son of God, then you cannot choose which parts of God's Word you want to follow and leave the rest behind. In that way, you are making up your own God, which breaks the first and second Commandments.
If you choose to follow God, follow Him completely.
God Bless,
Jesus loves you.

Accepting Jesus is what traditional Christians call "easy believeism" There is no scriptural basis for that teaching and in many cases those people are unsaved because they remove the most vital part of the salvation message. True faith comes from Romans 10:9 "that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." Easy believeism removes the Lordship aspect of salvation. Which this passage tells us is what results in salvation. So to answer your question can you willingly choose not to make Christ Lord in certain areas of your life will you be saved. I think Jesus answered that one.
Matthew 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. 22 "Many will say to Me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?' 23 "And then I will declare to them, `I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'

Slow down. It is not required for us to only accept Jesus as our Savior. We must take Jesus as our LORD and Savior. He saved us, but he is also supposed to become the director of our lives. If you only take Jesus as your savior. but are not willing to surrender the path of your life to Him, then you will only fall from God. Besides, the ONLY "unforgivable" sin is to know the truth about Jesus and reject it. 2 Timothy tells about people like this.
