okay, my crush came over to work on an english project in which we were partners in.
when he walked in he saw my cat, and petted him, which i had of course, no problem with.
then he spoted my little pride and joys....my little babies...my 3 canaries, in their cage.
he stupidly stuck his finger in the cage, and one of my little canaries bit him. he screamed, and yumped back and started swearing....and he started saying they were vicious (totally not true)
and i took my canaries side.
we argued while he put on a band-aid, and so then we continued.
the next day i heard that he said my poor little birds were vicious and bloodthirsty, and attcked him, and now everyones like, SHUNNING ME!
is this stupid or what?
should i have taken his side?

yes it is stupid. it was his stupidity that led him to put his finger in the cage. the bird that bit him isn't vicious, he/she was just defending theirself. people have abused animals for so long and then people act surprised when the animals don't trust humans and attack.
no, you should not have taken his side.
you should explain to the people who are 'shunning you' that it was his stupidity that got him hurt.

WHAT A PUSS*.......You should of said..."be a man"... it no big deal that he got bit by a bird. It happens...animal bite when you get into there business. It is really stupid and he acting like a big baby...you should take the side of your birds...He was all up in there business.lol

they are just canaries. he needs to suck it up and get over it. He's the stupid one that stuck his hand in the cage!!
