Sounds like urge incontinence. You never feel empty. The good news is that there is medication for it- but you should have diabetes excluded as that can make you pee a lot. You are thinking about diabtetes insipidus which is extremely rare. However you can be tested for this.
Wth the urge incontinence the meds they use are anticholinergics lke oxybutynin which relax the bladder muscle and stop it contracting so much. Side effects mainly are dry mouth but eases up after a while .
However this whole issue should be discussed with your GP/family physician -not sure if you in UK or elsewhere. Good UK organisation called INCONTACT. Look them up on web.
Bladder training helps too-and your doctor can advise about this.
With good advice, support and treatment things can and should improve so that you have a life away from a toilet.
Doctors see this very often and incontinence is no longer the taboo it used to be. It is very distressing and disabling -so get some help andstart livng again.
If you are a woman an assessment by a gynaecologist called a urogynaecologist-someone who sepcialises in urological aspects of gynaecology can be useful as well. there are some gynae conditions that can affect bladder function like prolapse and treatment like a vaginal repair can help considerably and are very simple and effective.
Interstitial Cystitis is bladder inflammation. This shows up on an investigation like cystoscopy where the bladder walls are inflamed. This irritates and causes friequency. There is no one single treatment for this but having a diet low in acidic food can help a great deal and foods high in alkali help. Oraange juice for me personally is a big trigger as are some acidic foods -those high in vitamin C. You should always have urnary frequency/urge incontinence checked out as there could be a whole host of reasons and finding out why will make a difference. Urologists are ok for male issues but if a woman you need to see someone who specialises in this to get the best advice. However your GP should always rule out any other cause.
Take care

You may not be emptying your bladder completely. If you are sure you do not have a UTI and you have been tested for diabetis then I think you should have a bladder scan. It is a very simple quick procedure similar to an ultrasound. The Doctor will have you try to empty your bladder then scan your bladder (non-invasive) this will tell how much urine is left in your bladder. There are medications available to help if this is the cause of your problem. Ditropan, Detrol to name a few. These help many people. Please do see a Doctor because although you may not have a bladder infection or UTI, you could be at risk for one because the waste products are not being excreted from your body. Good luck.......

You did not actually state if you had been tested for Diabetes type 1 and/or2.
This is atypical of this condition, another symptom is excessive thirst and general tiredness.
Recommend getting a blood test for it if you have not had one.
If you did ,are you sure you didn't "cheat" with the fasting for 12hrs?
See your Dr. its not really my place to diagnose, but hope this has helped clear any Q's up.
Cheers

I'm not from medical background, but I think your problem is "Urinary incontinence". Check out the Wikipedia article on the same:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urinary_incontinence
The Wikipedia article has a section on treatments and some helpful external links. Hope this helps.

Something like that happened to me once: I had to hold it for about 4 hours, then the days after I had the urge to pee every 15 min. It started to get back to normal after a week.

Have you been checked for Interstitial Cystitis?
You don't say if you have any pain or other symptoms, nor what tests you've had, but if no one has suggested IC yet, you might want to bring it up to your doctors.
Good luck!

You just have a small bladder , try peeing and stopping in the middle of peeing ,it is hard to do at first .It stretches the bladder, but can cause UTI.Do that for a couple weeks to see if it helps.

you take a lot of diuretics huh?
i wonder if you're like that while sleeping at night...that's maybe a symptom of prostitis...don't take a lot of fluids every minute.
