Who's Nod?

2006-12-11 13:05:47 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 1 1

Adam and Eve had been on the earth for some time he wasn't a teenager. They had no birth control and perfect bodys.
By this time a lot of people had been born. My Aunt had 3 girls and by the time she is just 60 which i think Cain was she has 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
So there would have been a lot of people on the earth by the time he sinned. But this story was written by Mosses 3000 years later and the story was passed on by word of mouth.
So all the children they had probably was not recored only the ones who seemed of important. Of all the people today how many do you see written about in magazines. Is every person mentioned?

Its no longer recorded for us yet keep in mind that Adam lived 950 years. He little doubt had many extra little ones. Many did not marry till a lot later in existence then. sure the first marriages were between siblings yet Cain ought to have married easily one of his sisters daughters or maybe grand daughters with the lengthy existence span.

It is a story! No-one mentions Jesus' siblings but he had them!
No-one mentions how many offspring apart from two Adam and Eve had! They would have had to have more siblings or breed with their mother to produce more! Mankind could not exist otherwise! Evolutionists say we came from apes but you still need two similar creatures male and female to start any new breed! We play God when we create a mixture of dogs and cats to produce a new breed but as to whether our own creation was done in this way or the Evolutionist way the result is the same!

Yeah, most people believe that it was a sister.

For some reason, when Moses wrote the book of Genesis, he didn't find it necessary to discuss Adam's and Eve's female children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, etc. very much.

Cain married a sister of his.
It was not dangerous to do that back then.
God did outlaw it before it would be a problem.
