Is it true that when girls have guy friends(and most of the guys in school think the girl is hot), the guys' minds tend to drift to sex thoughts and may want to make their friendship more??
My b/f says that my name comes up when they talk about girl's they like.

Friends with benefits, in short, are f*ck buddies. My sister-in-law had 4 of them before she was married.
Honestly I think it doesn't help anyone to be a friend with benefits. Sex is sex. What's wrong with waiting until you at least have a boyfriend? Desperation is a HUGE turn off. Honestly it's the GIRLS who tend to want more out of the relationship. It's tough being used just for sex.

yes, guys minds do think about sex and want more out of a friendship. My idea of friends with benefits is when two people have sexual intercourse but don't have any extra attachment far as boyfriend girlfriend status. Basically, no feelings should be involved even though that is impossible.

The problem that i see with the term,Friends with Benefits is.You start out as friends,then it turns into a sexual relationship.When this happens it is usually the girl who's Emotions want to take it to a higher level.The guy is fine with just having sex.It is more of a benefit for the guy than it is for the girl,because her feelings get pulled into this much more then the guys feelings will. To me,Friends with Benefits mean,you are someone that i can talk to when i need to talk,Someone that i can laugh and cry with,Someone i can tell my deepest secrets to,and not worry about them telling others,Someone who will tell me the truth and not hold back for fear of hurting my feelings, Someone i can hold in my arms in good times and bad,and not worry about them or me getting sexually aroused.That to me is a friend with true benefits..I'm either your friend,or I'm your Lover.There is no in between.

A friend with benefits is someone you are friends with but you have sex on occasion. The sex is just something you do once in a while and there is no exclusivity implied. This means you can date and have sex with other people.

Friends with Benifits = Doormat
If you subject yourself to being "used" for sex with no attachments (because no matter what anyone says, one of the two people have some sort of attatchment to the other that is more then just physical) you are doing nothing but making yourself a doormat for the other person.
Thats how I see it.

Friends with benifits- they give each other sexual pleasure but don't want a relationship or define themselves as mere friends.

friends with benefits is in demand this time.. why? because guys dont want any commitment and they just want to have some fun and free sex with their friends..
it is something you can do anything and everything but no string attach!

You sound way too young to be learning about this. It's for older people; look up the definition of the word: jaded. You couldn't handle it at your age (which I guess is pretty young). It never works out anyway, one person always gets attached and that's against the rules.

Young lady,
"Friends with benefits" translates into sex with no strings attached or no commitment. If you're asking the question, I would politely suggest that you're not ready for that activity.
