I definitely think Marines and Army are the most dangerous. Who ever says that the air force does not do anything is very ignorant. In fact, because of low recruiting numbers for the Army, the air force is covering some of the Armys job's in the middle east. There are Air Force jobs where the deployment is a lot longer than 4 months. None of these branches are safe. Anybody who signs up for the service is also saying that they know that they could possably die or get hurt.

Salvation Army. They are all dangerous. There is no military duty that is without risk. Ships sink for the Navy, the Coast Guard, and the Marines. On the battle field, the enemy is firing real ammunition at the Army and the Marines. And airplanes fall out or get shot out of the sky which affects the Air Force, the Navy, the Coast Guard, and the Marines. Bear in mind that it is also hazardous to cross the street or to walk from your car in the parking lot to the store. There is not a good answer to your question.

Ranking from 1 to 5, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Army. The Marine Corps is definitely the most safest and I'm in the Navy.

I would say the Air Force is the safest because they don't do a whole lot. My brother in law is in the AirForce for the last 16 years. I would also say the Army is the most dangerous because the Marines go in and get out and the Army is left places for long periods of time and if you look at Iraq stats the most soldiers killed were in the Army.

In my opinion (my husband is in the Air Force Active Duty just got back from a deployment):
5) Coast Guard
4) Air Force
3) Navy
2) Army
1) Marines
Though I would say that the Marines and Army are tied for most dangerous and they are certainly the worst when it comes to supporting families both before and during a deployment.

Coast Guard (safest), Air Force (only deploy 4 months at a time and stay in generally safe areas of Middle East), Navy (they're on ships most of the time if they go to the Middle East), Army, then Marines.

My boyfriend is a Marine so it's very demanding, he's already been to iraq 2 times, and everything they do is very physical, and dangerous, so that's the most dangerous, and i think coast guard is the least.
