What does it all mean?

When some guy wants to talk, he sits by you, if you asks people to scoot down for him and his hands get sweaty, plus if he asks for your ring and puts it on his thumb and gives it back, but he wants to put it on himself. I think I know, but want to make sure! what do you think?!

it sounds like he is a bit nervous but is interested in being around you. talk to him and get to know him. you'll get more clues that way.
