about 2 months ago I got my tragus pierced and my body doesn't do to well with peircings, so a keloid developed by the peircing. Its not infected and the peircer told me to use hydrogen peroxide but its not really seeming to work...does anyone have any better ideas or ideas to get it to go away quicker? Besides popping it lol. thanks!

I had the same thing a few weeks ago. I went to my piercer and they suggested using a little Satin brand soap in the shower and daily sea salt soaks. This seems to be the standard advice in the piercing industry, but what worked for me was to leave it alone. What I thought was a keloid was probably just irritation from overcleaning and using too many products. All I do now is clean it twice a day with a wet (water only) q-tip and move the jewelry a little so it doesn't get crusted in place. Every few days I also wash it with a little Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash. I think the tea tree oil in there helps. It helped get all the "gunk" out and now my tragus is lump free!

You should really go to the doctor and have it checked out. Peroxide only drys things out. If you have a pocket fill with something you need to have it looked at and make sure its not infected. Its also possible you are allergic to the metal.
Remember, ear, nose and throat are connected. Get it looked at before it become a big problem and worsening infection.

i might get my tongue pierced returned, I took it off yet might get it returned. It did harm like hell for some hours and that i saved biting on it yet i do unlike abdomen because of the fact each physique has that, and that i don't wanna be a follower, nostril it harm like hell and that i became into bleeding lots so I took it off for interest. Lip, is a eighty's element. and that i've got on no account considered a eyelid piercing. yet i might get a marilyn Monroe piercing however, looks good.

im not sure what a tragus is, but i got one too with my eye brow piercing, and i washed it like every day with this piercing soap antimicrobial or something like that and it went away. so i would suggest washing it with that kind of soap. you can probably find it at any piercing shop.

Get rid of the peircing altogether, or find out if you are alergic to the type of metal. I myself am alergic to most metals other than gold, and have had no problems with the gold.

Happend to me on my upper ear. Had to go to like MedCenter or quick medical car kinda place they sparayed so freeze stuff on it the cut it open to like release the fluids.

Uh, it's the lobe that is supposed to be pierced, not the tragus.
Go to your doctor first, then sue the piercer for making the error.
