most people can not handle the truth about how many sexual partners one had prior to them. one should not make a practice of lying, but if the truth is told, would your new mate think of you as loose and no morals. i met my husband when i was 25 and i told him that i only had three partners he makes the 4th and he thinks that was too many. i am now 30 with the same amount of partners. your answer to your new mate would be based on the personality of your new partner.

Yes, but not all at once. That can be a little overwhelming. As time went on, we would both reveal a little more, but we took time to tell each other. I think if we told each other everything right away, it would have been too much to handle. It's hard to think of someone you're with being with someone else.
However, this was something we agreed we wanted to know. However, if he wouldn't have brought it up, I would have been subtle and left some things unsaid.

No, in this instance honesty isn't always the best policy. The same way I don't want/need to know every single person my bf has ever slept with. The past is the past and I want to live in the present.

Well you are not obligated to tell everything. What would he have to gain knowing this. If he ask you, just say a few and leave it at that.

I would tell her ... if I could remember all of them. Lots of booze, lots of drugs, lots of waking up next to strange girls in strange beds. Ah, the good ole' days

yeah, and she is pissed at me, "how many did you say"??! she keeps telling me, eventhough i told her that was long time ago, the worst part is she think i'm adddicted to sex and i will cheat on her, it makes me sick to my stomach. eventhough a part of me wishes that i lied to her, the reality is I couldn't lie to her cause i love her.
