No! I don't want my tax money going to spread stupidity and trash. Christianity already gets a free ride. We should tax their churches to pay for the ignorance and diseases they spread. TAX MONEY SHOULD GO FOR EDUCATION AND NOT TO SPREAD IGNORANCE AND FANTASY RELIGIONS.

That is the biggest piece of rubbish I have ever heard of. The Nativity scenes are specially made by churches or carpenters who are Christian. They are then donated to the Counties in which these special Christians live in. Taxpayers don't pay for this, but with certain donations and contributors, that Love the Nativity Scenes. Might be in your county, but not in mine. You are 100% WRONG !!

Isn't it great that Christians are being persecuted religiously so as not to offend all the other religions in the US and that basically it's a kind of "it's ok to be part of any religion except Christianity" point of view now?

Ha ha ha go to bed past your bedtime and you could just move to say the middle east no worries there about nativity scenes costing you money. You do pay taxes right? I could get donations for the trip from a few Christians I know . Just let us know when you are packed the cattle truck leaves at Dawn. O_O

This country was founded on the principles of Christianity. I think it is past time for those of us who are Christian to quit whining about how our rights to religious freedom has been hijacked to do something to regain it. look at the tree incident in Seattle...PC gone completely haywire. Why should we be afraid to stand up for ourselves? Everyone else is certainly trying their hardest to shove religion out bodily, I say we have a right and an obligation to push back.

News Flash: Christians pay taxes too. And nativity scenes are traditional. America has been doing it for centuries.

Nobody is forcing you to put one in your front yard, so stop your whining.

isn't it great that those crazy christians are being forced to pay for evolution classes to be taught as a science when it should be nothing more than an elective in theology since it requires you to believe in it?

As a Christian pastor, I agree with you! Religious portrayals are the responsibility of the church, not the state.
