Hon they will yell at you and cuss at you and call you names, but tell them the truth always and God will protect you.

just step up and take courage in god. pray before you are going to begin a conversation to spread the good word. learn the gospel and learn what it means so that you can answer most if not all questions that may stem from the conversation. talk calmly, respectfully and always have charity in your heart. when you pray ask god to help and guide you or even take over for you.
if they turn you down or don't want to talk about it be respectful and end the conversation, pray for the person aswell, whether or not they discuss or do not discuss with you. hope this helps god bless.

That's the thing, poeple will turn you down, because remember: Jesus said we must be like salt---> salt burns things that are full of dirt, but will clean and heal the bad thing in the end! Read Ex.31:6 and apply it to yourself! Just go up to someone and say, "You know, Jesus loves you." they probably will telly ou to go away, but hey, it's the start of something! Here's another verse you can read: Matt.5:16...let it all start from there!
Good luck=)

I'm pretty secure as an atheist, but I still enjoy civil discussions on philosophy and religion. They're downright fun when everyone stays calm and doesn't act like they have a vice grip on Truth that no one else does. Try and share it in that way... and telling the more pushy members of your faith to shove off couldn't hurt either, in my opinion. Being too pushy just scares people off and makes them resent you.

I smile as I think of where you are and where you are going. You are part way across now. When you reach the other side, you will find the courage and strength you need to do what God needs you to do. Do not be surprised that many people hate the truth. That is the human way of the other side. Do not be discouraged. You will be given what you need.

The best way is simply through your own story - just tell how God's message of love and forgiveness has impacted YOUR life.

thats why jesus said, if the world hates you, remember they hated me first. people will shun you for believing in jesus and spreading his name. they will call you a religious freak, a bible thumper and accuse you of shoving religion down their throats. spread jesus everywhere you can. never be ashamed of believing in him and never let anyones unkind words deter you from knowing what you are doing is a good thing.
