Well there could be a couple of things going on here. 1) if you want to see if he has narcisstic personality disorder, you can look up some information from the DSM-IV-TR, the book of mental health diagnosis. Without knowing much about him, I cant tell you for sure. the other is 2) he is emotionally abusive to you because that is who he is. This may not be much detail for you, I would need to know more about him.

If your self-worth is declining, imagine what impact your husband is having on your child! Does it matter if he is a narcissist? You need to get out NOW, because he is emotionally abusive. It will only get worse unless there is some intervention. The next step is physical abuse. Set a good example for your child; you don't want them growing up in a loveless, abusive home, and thinking their parents' behavior is normal. Break the cycle of abuse, and your child, and you, will be mentally healthier.

Who cares if he is or isnt,if he makes you feel unworthy or less than he expects, then you have some troubles.I'm assuming he thinks that since you guys have a child together he more or less owns you and you wont go anywhere, maybe he needs a taste of lonliness.Hope you are strong willed and stick to what you say,I hate sleeping alone, especially if there is a women in my life(hint hint) yeah cut him off.But I see this quite often and the women always thinks she cant do any better and gives in.Good Luck!!

Is he selfish, doesn't take your feelings into consideration. Remember, your child is watching this and taking notes. If she is a girl she will think this is the way women are to be treated. Is this what you want for your daughter. If not, you have your answer.
