Okay, I have a black and white cat at home, and he is 8 yrs. old, and always acts like a kitten. He does very weird things, and my older cat is very laid back & normal. My friend also has a 7-year-old black and white cat, she also does strange things. Does anyone have any idea why black and white cats usually act like this?

I don't think it's Black and White cats! I think maybe it's just the Breed of Cat... or the age they are.

I wouldn't say just because he's black and white is why he's weird. All cats have different personalities. Some breeds have certain traits that are specific to the breed but color is just color. I have black and white female, a brown tabby female, an orange tabby male and a gray male. They all act weird in some way or another. It makes them unique. Good luck and love your kitty!

well, mine suffered through an earthquake when he was a year old, so he has a good excuse, but my all black cat does weird stuff, too, so it could just be a feline thing. I love cats because they always retain the kitten within

Cats are cats and they all have their own personality~! Love them and know that they are one of a kind! Lost ours to a big dog that moved in next door and she was the same and we have her girl that is black and white! (Stormy was solid gray , she was the mom!) Just laugh or if it is too bad call the vet. Hope it helps but cats are in their own range!

I have a Siamese (black and white) and I think he is ADHD. I also have a long hair that is black with one white spot on her chest and she is just as hyper. It may have something to do with their color. My orange tabby is very calm.
