I have lingual braces (the backwards ones that go on the inside of the teeth), and I used the wax they gave me to help with the tongue irritation. Problem is now I can't get the wax out, especially since the braces themselves are really hard to get to. Tried fingernails and a toothbrush but it's not really working. What's the proper method for removing this stuff? They neglected to tell me...

I do a lot of my own Dental care. I bought some Dental Tools at Harbor Freight like those they clean your teeth with at the Dentist and I take good care of my own teeth. If, you could get some of these tools you made be able to clean them. Just work slow and easy, these tools can be sharp on the points. Also, you sure do not want to get one stuck, so, do not force anything.
I think Wal-Wort and Radio Shack sell them too, mainly for working with electronics. I found a bigger picture for you.

Get the bulk of it off with your fingers and if you have any little bits left behind then use a toothpick or interdental brush to get them out.

tweezers work really well, just reach in and take out the wax
