Short answer, no. You could still move around, but it wouldn't be anything like the walking you did before it got cut.

Yes, but your push off is much weaker than usual. You need the Achilles Tendon to use the big calf muscles on the back of your calf (gastrocnemius and soleus).

You'd limp badly and essentially be walking on the heel of your foot most effectively.
