For example, I would sometimes say go here go there, that shows I'm really interested in those places. He would say ok, let's go sometime and then never mention it again. If I mention it again, he'll always say ok, let's do it. But he never mentions it first. It kinda bothers me b/c i want him to remember things that are important to me rather than i say do this and he agrees.

Is it reasonable for me to get upset about this?

What? I stopped listening right after the word "reasonable."

Perhaps you are stressing this out more than you should.
Don't look too much into it.
He's a guy.
He forgets. =/
Some of us just don't retain information as long as we should especially if something is on our minds.
Now the day that you forget, that's a problem. =)
Also, I know that when my girl mentions something once, that I pay more attention to it, then if she were to nag me about it.
(Though honestly speaking, she's the one that forgets things) =)
If that's too much then you could always sit him down and talk with him.
One very last thing that you should also know, guys need to be controlled a little, not to the point where it can be deemed manipulative, but exerting some of that feminant control over him should be able to take you wherever you want him to go.
Good luck!

My husband is not a good listener and I have gotten used to it. I don't know that you can fix it! I tell my husband all the time "we talked about this two weeks ago" but he really doesn't remember stuff. He just doesn't pay attention if something else has his attention.

it could just be bad memory. I know I have a terrible memory. Sometimes I cant remember a conversation I had with someone 10 minutes before hand.

Reasonable, no. Natural, yes.

There's nothing logical about getting upset with something that is very common and natural for men to do. However, it is natural, so don't "blame" yourself for it. It's your own way of telling yourself "This guy isn't showing he's caring, and it's bothering me." Take it into account for yourself, but don't EXPECT him to change because of it. Just think about what it means to you that you get upset about it.

i know how it's annoying.

one thing to try... if you haven't already... set the example and show him how you want to be treated. when he mentions something he likes, do it on a date or something. see if he gets it....

BUT REMEMBER it's almost a give and take thing here... women want romance, guys want to be seduced... you know how guys are, so simple minded that you have to manipulate them into wanting to do things, then reward them with something they love (BJs, like i said, simple minded). you SEDUCE him more and he will ROMANCE you more...

another thing is to STOP complaining, that only makes it worse. i notice that guys tend to be more romantic if they aren't being nagged. if you have a sister of best friend she can talk to him for you... tell me how it works out... or if my advice sucks.
