I haven't heard any from independent sources who can confirm and document a patient who had undergone healing from preachers were healed. Most preachers are gifted con man otherwise they weren't able to build mansions and engage in multimillion dollar businesses.

Since healing is found to various, non-Christian religions, it is not a sign that a preacher is blessed. The gifts ceased with the death of the last of the Apostles, and was no longer necessary to prove Christianity to be the true faith. Now, the blessing of the Holy Spirit will lead those people truly seeking truth to the right religion. If they need a showy display, then they are not truly seeking.

No preacher can heal anyone. Any Christian who is convinced otherwise is being deceived, and should re-evaluate their relationship with God and his son Jesus Christ. Any person who is miraculously healed is done so by God, not by man. The same goes with salvation. No person but Christ can save the soul. You want a healing then go to the doctor. The bible does speak of the elders of the church getting together and praying for the sick.
As for a previous comment, When have you heard of anyone with faith enough to move a mountain.........it never happened until someone invented dynamite and earth moving equipment. You may correct me if I'm wrong.

The gift of healing that the apostles had included and was the same gift as the one that was used to ressurect the dead. Unless you know someone who can bring a person who has been dead for 4 days back to life, I don't think that you should expect them to heal people either. Our own bodies are made to respond to our thoughts, however, and you can do wonders just by believing in yourself and not giving up.

God gives different gifts to people, and healing is one of them. Some preachers may have been given this gift, and the way to tell is if they heal on an eternal basis.

well, Jesus was called the Great Preacher wasn't he. he also healed the multitudes. but modern day preachers have to have faith that they are doing this for the Lord.

I believe that some people - not necessarily preachers - are gifted to heal people. Hopefully we'll see them walking around one of these days.

No there is no such thing as a simple man that has such a so-called GIFT. the only ones that had this healing was the PROPHETS(PBUA)which means peace upon them all and it was only by the will of god that they were able to do these miracles.

No human being can heal another human being. But people can be healed thorough their own connection to a Divine source. Sometimes another person can be a conduit for that Divine healing. But this 'faith healing'? I am skeptical. It is too theatrical in nature.
