Republicans? Oh, sorry, I see you already have snakes... LOL! Sorry, I couldn't help myself.
I think they might have javelinas. We have them in New Mexico. They're these huge wild pigs and they're dangerous!
How about coyotes? They're canines but not wolves.

Simba, I would not classify snakes as predatory animals. At least not the ones in Texas. Although some are venomous therefore dangerous, you hardly need to worry about getting 'eaten' by one or losing lifestock to snakes as part of their food chain. You left out the mountain lions (sometimes called a 'puma'). There are also Jaguars (protected) and panthers (which may or not be the same species as the puma and jaguar).
There are feral dogs which are predatory and feral hogs which can be dangerous even if not predatory. The coyote is more of a scavenger than a predator but common enough in the Lone Star State and still can be a threat to lifestock. Finally there are alligators and American Crocodiles (sometimes called Mississippi crocs) in Texas. If you don't think these are predatory, just don't let one catch you swimming in their turf. LOL!

Texas is a huge state and some species of predators can be found in some parts but not others. We do have wolves, coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats, ocelots, bears, badgers and snakes. We do have javalinas and feral hogs which may not be considered by some as predators but they can do a real nasty job on you if you get between them and their piglets.

Depends on what level you call a predator? Birds, frogs, housecats, fish, etc can all be predators. Are you limiting it to large predators?

There are also mountain lions, but they aren't seen everyday. Several years ago, a guy my brother knows saw one while walking down a path to his deer stand.
