quite some time ago, Cummins (without the g ) was my employer! But (I can't help) I've been too out of touch - didn't realise they now make small engines as well.

I have a 12 valve and I average 24-27 freeway and 14-17 on the streets. The more valvaes usually the more fuel consumption. Im just pissed about the price of deisel being 50cents more than premium right now. Whats up with that??

the more valve's per cylinder the more power but the fuel mileage im not sure its just more efficient i guess. anyway back to the question i don't know the mileage.

i own a 99 24v no load it knocks down 27mpg at highway speed it has minor mods like 5"exhaust 120hp over stock injectors cold air fas fuel system it makes at the rear wheels 477hp and 1080flb most everything i`ve fabed myself
