puppy vax begin at 6 weeks of age, after they are weaned from their mother. they get 1 every 3 weeks until 4 months old, then they get their first rabies vax. you need to deworm them too. vaccinations could cost as low as $12/pup, or upwards of $30/pup. most vet clinics have a puppy vax program. you can vax yourself too if it's legal in your state. they'll show you how at the place you purchase the vaccine.

Two week old puppies don't ever get vacciantions. Puppies shouldn't get any vaccinations until they have at least completed their 7th week(puppies should NOT get vaccinations younger then this as it interfers with their natural immunity and can cause problems with vaccinations later on).Puppies get vaccinations at 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 16 weeks for distemper/parvo. Rabies vaccinations are given after 16 weeks. Ideally it is best if at all possible to wait until a puppy is 6 months old before getting a rabies vaccination.
A puppy doesn't need any more vacciantions then a "3" series. More then that is way over vaccinating a young dog. After the initial puppy series is done at 16 weeks a puppy doesn't need any more until a year after the date of the last puppy vaccination. After that distemper/parvo only needs to be given every three years. Rabies is effective for at least 3 years but some states still require it done every year.
The AVMA, AAHA and all 27 vet schools go with the improved vaccination protocol. To find out more about proper vaccination protocol go to the AAHA site or read studies done by Dr.Jean Dodds and Dr.Ron Schultz. Also get your hands on the November 2006 Whole Dog Journal. It has an excellant article on vaccinations.
Puppies do need to be dewormed at 2, 4, 6 & 8 weeks of age.
By laws in most states puppies also must NOT be bought, sold, given away or adopted before they have completed their 7th week and in some states it's 8 weeks.

There's no single answer because it depends on 1) where you get them done, and 2) what you and the veterinarian decide is 'all the shots they need.' Believe it or not, there is no single vaccination schedule that all dogs need or that all veterinarians agree on.

Also, 2 weeks is *far* too young to be doing any vaccinations; you're likely to make the puppies sick without providing them any actual protection from disease. Generally vaccinations are not needed - or useful - until at least 8 weeks of age. Exceptions include intranasal Bordetella (kennel cough) which can be given at 6 weeks; also, if there is reason to believe the mother was not vaccinated it may be advisable to start other vaccinations (DHPP, Corona, possibly others) at 6 weeks instead of 8.

What you *can* do at 2 weeks is give them their first deworming with liquid pyrantel - such products can be found at most pet stores.

Puppies aren't vaccinated until they are about 12 weeks old.

They will get a series of vaccinations about every 3 weeks. Depending on the clinic, you might be charged a office visit fee every time you go, not just the charges for the vaccinations.

Distemper and Parvovirus are about 19 a piece and rabies is about 20. There's the office visit charge & fecal floatation test (to test for parasites). Office visits vary per doctor. Fecal flotation test is 15 at our clinic.

To get an exact total, call the vet you plan on using and ask the receptionist to give you an estimate of all the costs for new patient/puppy vaccinations.

It depends where you live. We had a litter of beagles. In town it would cost $117 per puppy for they're first shots. An hour out of town it cost $16.00 yep 16 dollars for the same shots. Spending the extra money in gas was well worth it. Check as many vets in your area as you can.

You don't give 2 week old puppies shots. They shouldn't get their first set of shots until they're about 6 weeks old.

I just got a six month old puppy. There usually is a "flat rate" for vets to see your dog which can vary from $35 to $50. The Vaccinations are roughly $20 each. It really can add up, but it is worth it because it safes you money in the long run.

Vaccine prices vary between vets, call around and find someone who does litter prices. You will also want to have them dewormed. Vaccines are at 8,12,and16 weeks and at that time they should be dewormed also. I am not sure of the recommendations in your area so check it out. Puppy visits where I work for a litter of 6 would be about 250.- 300. per visit.

I believe two week olds don't get shots. My puppy who is now 10 months old didn't get his shots until he was almost 6-7 weeks old.

puppies should not be vaccinated til they are 5 weeks, then 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, and 20 weeks as well as their rabies with this set at 20 weeks. do not vaccinate the puppy yet til he is 5 weeks he is still to young for the shots. keep him with his mom til he is 6 weeks and then wean. start to wean on solids at 3 weeks while still on mom and do this til 6 weeks and then take him off mom and wean for good. i breed golden retrievers and i start to wean at 3 weeks and then off mom at 6 weeks. then i sell them at 8-9 weeks with giving them the shots at 5 weeks, and so on like mentioned before. but when you get the shots it may cost between $100 - up so you may need to look up costs for this and then call vets to ask them what it would cost for them to be done but don't do it til they are 5 weeks. good luck.
