It might be a skin condition known as Vitiligo. It usually affects dark-skinned people resulting in white patches.
Or, depending on your age, it could be age/liver spots appearing.
If you are female - could you be pregnant?
This is Scloatia, a hyperpigmentation due to pregnancy hormones.
All of the above are harmless, but do pop along to a doctor if any moles changing shape or becoming itchy. And meanwhile, do wear a high factor sun-block to protect yourself from skin cancer and premature ageing!

That is commonly referred to as the 'masks of being pregnant' and by and large fades after you supply birth. I do not have brown spots but rather pink spots everywhere the right side of my neck and with every being pregnant it will get worse but they almost always fade some after giving delivery. I requested a dermatologist and they mentioned that they could be eliminated by means of laser elimination but it surely's obviously pricey and seeing that it can be beauty most insurances won't cover it. HTH! There may be nothing incorrect with being just a little useless and being a mom while!!! The kids may not discover however there is still a husband or a large other to look good for ;-)

Do you take the pill? As personal as this question may seem, it can affect the melanin in your skin. I have a rather strange patch of darker skin on the inside of one of my arms and having read teh side affects of my contraceptive pill I blame it on that!
