I used to bowfish the Trinity and Brazos when I lived in Texas. Great fun. I had a 18 foot flat bottom with lights and a platform rigged up. My bow had two reels and sparky j's tips on a 26 inch wood arrow. the boat is still in Texas at a friends house. Gar and carp were our main targets and the were plenty of them. Good Luck.

I did years ago, had fun. My friend fell in at one in the morning, that was funny. It was kind of weird to bow fish over the old cemetery at Blackforest though. I miss Rayburn, now that it's a little cleaner the fishing has gotten better now I'm told.

#a million flow to bait on vast Sam is a purple rat-l-capture. you could fish all of it day and capture on it. Buzz bait and spooks early for topwater bite. Carolina rigged centipede or french fry or zoom lizard fished on drop offs on the part of spawning swimming pools. long-A and bomber A-a million close to edges. Texas rigged worms or lizards on beds. those will definetly get you some fish interior the boat. solid success and spot you quickly, i would be fishing Sam in 2 weeks. could be mind-blowing.
