if you have that kind of money put it in the bank and tell them u want it in a cd ( go to a bank that has the highest percentage)
next year, if you started out with 10,000 and put it in the bank with the 6%, youll end up with...
10600
i made some money doing that
P.S. there are other ways to make money with using the bank like that
(if you wait 2 years, you can make a lot more and then buy a new car or you can borrow just a little money from your parents)
or you can consider a used toyota or honda

go for a classic car man. Many which look and run well for under 10,000. 1990 trans ams are real nice and only cost like 4000 dollars. Anyway, check autotrader.com or collectorcartrader

Start with the classified ads in your local newspaper. You can also do a web search for autos in your area. Enter in your budget range and go from there.

save some more cash and buy a new car , when you buy a beater your only getting someone elses problem, if it is such a great car they wouldn't be selling it. The repair cost on a POS may be alot more in the long run.
also don't by a freinds car...
see if a grandparent will sell you theirs...
