If you dont have the basics down you should get a tutor. Everyone needs help every once in awhile.

I fell so far behind I could not catch help unless I got one on one tutoring. And the tutoring was easier because I could ask questions in private without feeling embarrassed.

Also...tell your parents that you are having problems so they are not caught by surprised if bad grades in math come for awhile.

Also...if you cant seem to pay attention in class, ask the teacher if you can move your seat up towards the front.

Good luck.

Try getting a tutor, or even just talking to your teacher before school briefly a few times a week to have the material explained a little better, so you can understand it better. Also, I know its not fun, but homework can really help, because it gives you lots of practice with the material you are covering.

You get really really good at math so you're no longer really really bad at math, okay?
