This question is for all you people who dont like God because of all the horrible things that have happened in the U.S. For example, if God was supposed to love us and save us, then why are there so many disasters such as 9-11 and Hurricane Katrina. But really these are great things. God put us on this earth to do His will and to follow the 10 commandments. Most of us dont do that. So He made deciples to spread God's word. But sometimes things get out of hand. So He starts over. HE GIVES US ANOTHER CHANCE!!! He isnt punishing us.! Jesus died on the cross for us and all we are doing is complaining that he isnt doing enough for us. here are some things to do if you ever feel without Gods wonderful love:

1. Pray every day.
2. Follow the 10 commandments.
3. Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
4. Go to church every sunday.
5. Make deciples of the Lord.
7. Ask forgiveness when you sin.

If you do all these things, you will live forever in paradise with the Lor

God doesn't hate anyone. He is here to teach You!
With the way this planet is, and the way other humans treat other humans, it's no wonder He doesn't let us obliterate ourselves.

No, it sounds like a preteen novel that's trying to be a teen novel. Unless you hinted at some huge plot twist I would've put that down before finishing the summary. As far as your summary goes try to cut out some of the stuff about the kids at school and more about the teachers ex-boyfriend. Your style of writing is pretty simple which is good considering a lot of authors now *coughstepheniemeyercough* use really flowery grammar which makes it vague and just awful.

I know you meant well with this question, but I don't think we even have to do all the things you said to feel God's love. We don't have to do anything. We cannot earn God's Love. He wrecklessly allows us to reject or accept it. I believe the things you said are good, but all life comes down to is accepting Christ's free gift of salvation. That's it. If we are truly transformed by Christ all the other things will happen supernaturally. But, I'll tell you this, my life is much more difficult as a Christian than as a non-Christian. There are many times that being a doof, doing all the wrong things with my life would be a lot easier. Instead I choose to follow Christ down a very treacherous road. As C.S. Lewis said, "He's not a safe God, but He's good."

If you are so sure that religion is the ultimate answer, why doesn't all churches voluntarily pay taxes just like any other organization ??? You really wanna help, do that and give the rest of us a break !!!!! God does not need all that money......

You are a dear soul. It is hard to understand the terrible things that happen in the world. 911 was devastating, and I live in Canada but it broke my heart, the Oklahoma bombing, made me cry for days. But we must carry on and believe that we are the hands of God in this world to help wherever and whenever we can.God is good and it is Satan who would have us believe otherwise. God Bless

John 3:16

People need to realize that God does not do these bad things...Man does.....
James 1:14,15 But every man is tempted when he is drawn away by his own lusts, and enticed. then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Murderers, child molesters, rapists, thieves, adulterers, homosexuals, etc.............. All Sinful Acts NOT Condone by God but they are CONDEMNED by God.

Human acts against mankind. Until we all come together in unity with God, Violence and crime will not go away.

We cannot blame God for Our actions.

Amen!

The Lord allows trial in our lives to shape our character and to draw us closer to Him.

Just a warning though... God will remove His protection from the US if we continue to allow God to be taken out of the US... and I think that's part of the problem we are having now in this country.

You're right!
I don't know what I was thinking??
Somehow, I had it in my head that when thousands of people die in a natural disaster, it's a tragedy.
But now I see that it's all really a gift from god. Each life that was slowly and horribly snuffed out by the rising, stinking, polluted waters that flooded New Orleans was actually a gift to all of us from our dear Lord.
I don't know how I missed it before?
Thank you!!!!
