I have been with my guy for 2 yrs and everything was fine until he went home on the weekend. His parents told him that they weren't happy (with us) cause im a quiet person (they think its rude, never mind the fact i have been a quiet person my whole life) and he always says that parents come first. Now its over all cause of them! please help me figure out what to do, i dont wanna lose him cause of his stupid parents!

wtf would they like you better if you were a jerk..if his parents could split you up over something so miminal than you could do so much better.. i know that is not what you what to hear.. but hell he is a mama boy and take it from some one who was married to one .. you dont want one

I'm sorry you are going through this.I had a very similiar demise in a relationship for similiar reasons.Write down how you feel on paper.If you have enough courage ,go and talk to his parents about it,and tell themyou are just shy,but what's most important is the fact that you truly love their son.Unfortunately,they will always be his parents whether you like them or not,so at least give it a shot to try and establish some sort of relationship with them.

The question isn't if you want to lose your guy, the question is, is he willing to lose you because of his parents ... if his answer is yes then he's a worthless prick and he's not worth your time ... that what i think of myself up to this day when I chose my parents over a girl ...

If he's going go give up on your relationship that easily, he's not worth worrying over. Move on and find someone who appreciates you for who you really are, and isn't a spineless "weak prick" as you so eloquently put it.
