Hey!
I myself am a baker(not proffesionally) But what I think would be a great Idea is to bake the cupcake, put frosting on it and then crush oreo cookies over the cupcake. You can experiment with a whole bunch of different stuff, bananas, different candies, to even different cereals!

Hey, so am I!

My oldest son is six, and for their holiday party at school each student must either bring candies or other foods!

They have the cutest little paper liners, mine have snowmen on them. I bought Pillsbury funfetti in red and green, I will use that for the cupcakes. They have icing in colors, but we are just using white and adding sprinkles.

Make sure you only fill the cups about a quarter full or else they make a huge, overflowing mess!

Good luck, I also have to bake four dozen cookies for our cookie exchange party!

Making supckaes from scratch maybe done if you have a week to spend time on, but I would recommen Betty Crocker Moist double chocolate cake or Betty Crocker's Brownies. You just have to add water oil and eggs and you're done! You can add nuts and M&M's for variety. Buy prepared Betty Crocker Frostings in Can if you want to make it colorful and Yummy. You can do about 100 cupcakes in 2 hours (baking time included).

Try putting a hershey kiss in the middle of the cupcake before baking. It will be a delightful surprise.

Make Santa cupcakes! Frost your favorite cupcakes white.

All you need to decorate is:
mini-marshmallows
some of the frosting colored red or red sprinkles (or both)
black icing (the kind you write with) or little black round candies.
red cinnamon candies

Frost the top 1/4 red for the hat. Add red sprinkles if you want.
Make the trim of Santa's hat and his beard with marshmallows.
Use black to make eyes and a red candy for the nose.

i don't know if you can do something different but i saw this on a food network show...the woman used those cone shaped paper cups (like the ones they do snow cones in) and used a sheet of foil to hole them then poured chocolate cake mix in, once baked and cooled she peeled the paper off and drizzled icing on them...green and white then put some m & m's and other small candies all over it to look like a chocolate christmas tree with candy ornaments on it. they actually turned out really well and looked pretty. she laid out real greenery (non-toxic) and poured regular sugar on it to look like snowy ground and placed the 'christmas tree' cupcakes around and it looked like snowy scene with chocolate trees...i think the name of the show was 'sweet dreams' or something like that.

Substitute a can of soda (7Up, Coke, Sunkist, etc.) for the water the recipe calls for. The cupcakes will be fluffier, and have a unique flavor.

I saw the cutest cupcakes at my work-
Instead of using cupcake wrappers- they used those small ice cream cones..That would be neat- I think the kids would like that.
Don't ask me exactly how to bake them- I haven't tried it myself yet :)
