But hoes can't solicit cooty cat on the streets? I mean, the hoes aren't going door to door looking for johns, they come to them. Wow. I'm tired of them waking me up every Saturday morning with Watchtower books. Then I have to get up and get dressed, and make tea, because I am not an asshole, I invite them in and humor them. I just wonder why there is not a fine for solicitation of religion, but hoes get locked up? Just strange.

Well i cant tell you why it is legal by any means - but i do find it aggravating. I used to get JW's at my door at least every 3 days and i used to get so angry and upset. I felt it was a form of harrassment because i had always said i wasnt interested but they just kept coming back.

Eventually a friend of mine told me exactly what to say.....all you have to do is say that you are "EX-COMMUNICATED". (all it means is that you used to be a JW and that you were kicked from the congregation). Once you say that they wont want anything to do with you.

And i guarantee you they wont want anything to do with you. As soon as i told them that they ran from my door like i was issue of the devil!

They are not soliciting. The literature is donation only, and you don't have to leave one to receive the bible-based literature. It is just contingent on a person's interest. We also offer free home bible studies for those who are interested.
The reason they keep coming back to you is because they think you are interested in learning about the bible.
Being honest and letting them know that you are not interested does not equate w/being nasty or whatever. We would really much rather you be honest. Peace out.

if you keep inviting them in and accept their literature then they automatically take that as an invitation to return because you are showing an 'interest'

next time try either not going down to the door or if you do then don't invite them in and say that it isn't convenient at the moment

in getting rid of jws you don't need to be nasty (which you certainly aren't) but just firm and not very specific about your own plans

In some countries, it is *NOT* legal for Jehovah's Witnesses to discuss the bible with their neighbors. Interestingly, Jehovah's Witnesses do so anyway, albeit more cautiously.

Too many so-called "Christians" view their religion as a social club rather than as a way of life which should influence every action the adherent takes. Too many so-called "Christians" do not give any real evidence of taking their so-called "faith" seriously and understanding that it obligates them to do Christ's work.

It seems that three activities can help deepen one's faith; sadly only two of them are acknowledged by most of Christendom's clergy; they are: regular bible reading, regular prayer, and regular personal ministry.

Perhaps these so-called "Christians" are ignorant that the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with PREACHING about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"

(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.

(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”

(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name

Sadly, so-called "Christians" try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications. Yet, the preaching work makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:

(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

They are protected by fredom of speech and religion. There are nice ways to get rid of them. Be sure there is a bottle of booze in sight or a beer in your hand. Invite them in for a drink. Another good way is if they are the opposite sex ask them out on a date. The best way I have found is to answer the door crossdressed. If you keep up these antics word will get around and they won't come near you.

Jehovah Witnesses aren't selling anything. They are simply having conversations. Prostitutes do a lot more than talk.

They are not selling anything -- just trying to save your life eternally. Politely ask them not to come back and they won't. As long as you keep letting them in and talking nicely to them, they will believe that there is some hope for you to be reconsiled to God.

Actually, they fought for it before the US Supreme Court. If you check the ACLU web site, you will find they are behind many of the civil rights decisions.

Maybe because its nasty and dont hoes usually have diseases? Jehovah witnesses tell people about god, who by the way can save those hoes, and totally turn their lives around, and help them get off their crack addictions. He can help you too. I'll pray for you and your friends.
