I celebrate the birth of Jesus and the excitement and joy of the season. The love in the air. The floaty snow. The cold nights but the toasty home. The smell of ham and baked goods. Wool sweaters that you can actually bear in the chill. Its all good.

I honestly believe in the birth of Jesus. It means the one time of year where there is for once peace. Is it because of money, or the tranquility affect of shopping. Something that isn't commonplace these days. What makes people use this one time of year to be courteous, and happy? My suggestion is we shouldn't just celebrate his birth once a year but everyday. I also celebrate Kwanzaa, which is a wonderful holiday to embrace.
I hope that people take heed to the fact that Christmas may come once a year, but you must keep that same love throughout the next.
God Bless You!!

It is the time of year when the sun is reborn so at this time we celebrate the birth of the Son. I also celebrate the victory of the Maccabees and the rededication of the Jerusalem Temple. It also commemorates the miracle of the oil that burned for 8 days. My personal traditions include exchanging gifts and spending time with family and loved ones as well as a quiet ritual to celebrate the Winter Solstice.
Blessed Be

Jesus was born in the summer by the way
The climate in the bible during the time of birth describes summer months, not winter
I celebrate it as a time to get together with family

Nothing. Christmas is a pagan holiday that true Christians ignore. If Jesus wanted us to celebrate his birth, don't you think he would have told us?

What does it mean to me? It means that it is another day on the calendar in the month of December. I don't celebrate anything on that day.
