Vocal exercises quite simply. For instance, going up a scale in thirds So it would be;
C E, D F, E G, F A, G B, A C, B D, C etc.
Then come back down again. Try two octaves or as far as you can get too.

Be careful not to strain your voice, push a LITTLE each day and try and get the best sound quality on the higher notes that you can, do each note really slowly until you get a sound quality you like then move on, then try the whole thing again faster.

A little and often is SAFE tho. Don't spend hours on it, yo'll strain your voice.

For your type of singing (souly) you might want to make up your own exercises too. Breathing is a factor so try and do some of the exercises in one long breath but not compromising sound quality.

Hope that helps!

It helps to sing out and making your range grow takes awhile so you 'll need to be patient. Practice scales in different keys going as far as ou can until you can't without sounding like a little kid. Then take the first three "bad" notes and add them to your regular warm ups. Slowly your voice will become accustomed to reaching the higher notes. Hey it worked for me but then again I am a girl!!!

It's not Laaaaaaaarrrrrrr
It's Laaaaaaaahhhhhhh

if u pronounce the r it sounds all wrong !
and so common.

no, seriously erm......
it's only practice.
try looking at http://www.vocalist.org.uk/vocal_folds.html
the more u sing a particular song, the more used to it
ur vocal chords become is my experience.
the song has to be in ur range, ideally.
u can control it with ur breathing

i usually start by singing the high notes fairly gentle to get the
chords used to the shape of the note then gradually crank up the power....when i can b bovvered.
i only sing 4 fun.
it is God?
well, it's great fun anyway !!!
i like rock and roll really
oasis, blur, nirvana and stuff
but i like other types as well.

with the help of a voice coach. just keep singing with notes that are hard, but you can get if you keep trying. eventually, they'll get easier and then move up a note.
