I have virusbursters lodged in my system tray/critical system errors and I have been to the control panel and?

I can't find it anywhere to stop the balloon from popping up and wanting me to buy their software. I'm getting really pissed . It should be illegal for these sob's to do this. What to do? It seems to be lodged in internet explorer and I can't remove it from system start-up. What to do? I've looked everywhere!!!!

You need to download a spyware removal program.
Spybot S&D is pretty good.
