That was a wonderful movie that really showed the torture that Jesus went through for mankind. It made me stop and just really appreciate what our heavenly Father did for us. Just like what you said.
P.S. Do you really think that telling people to kiss your *** is going to make them want to accept Christ? It is behavior like that, that give people bad opinions of Christians. Please be kinder to your answerers, even if they make you mad. In Christs love, Cat

It was a two hour snuff film.
Terrible. As if I want to watch some guy be tortured to death for two hours in Armaic or Latin. It wasn't particularly interesting, and It should have been NC-17. What else is there to say?

It brought faith to sight, some of these people either need to watch it or see it again. Mel Gibson did a wonderful job, but still I don't think any man can truly depict what happened that day as far as the level of suffering Jesus did for us all. Would we be willing to do that for someone who didn't deserve it.
Passion is translated suffering

I was physically ill the first time I watched it.. Since I have watched it many times to remind me that whatever I am going through Jesus went through it 1st.. and that I can do all things with God..
And it reminds me that I am a sinner unworthy of his gift. I thought it was an AMAZING movie..
I am looking forward to his next one

i think the movie was well written and directed. it helps to visualise the story that we all know and helps us to be more aware of the suffering our savior actually went through, although that suffering is immeasurable it helps us as humans to visually see things so we can appreciate it more. it to me portrayed the story accurately and depicted jesus' relationship with others very well and shwed his peaceful nature and compassion very well.

I just wonder why they call it that. Yeah, why is that? It seems like the word passion is used out of context. Wouldn't another phrase be more appropriate? Like..."Life of Jesus" maybe?

I love it. I watch it whenever I am feeling unloved, or I cannot sense Gods presence, and it reminds me of what Jesus went trough for us.

I felt the same way. I never felt so moved by a movie as I did with this one. It renewed my faith in God.
