G-d never "started". I know it's hard for mortals to understand, especially when we see a beginning and an end to everything BUT G-d was and is always in existence, with no beginning and no end...

Think of God as the "first cause", that which set everything else into being. To be that, God must not have been caused by something greater, or else THAT would be God. So since God is first cause, God is outside the bounds of creation - so He had no beginning.

Perhaps He started with 'the big bang', perhaps he is 'the big bang'.
Part of the definition of God is that for God there is no 'Start' only 'Is'.
In other words, God did not start, He just IS.

That's certainly an interesting question amidst arguments regarding how and when the earth started.

God is eternal. He didn't "begin" to exist, and He will never end - thus saying, He IS the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega so on so forth.
