I agree. Jesus' first miracle was to make wine for a wedding. Paul said to Timothy: 'Take a little wine for your stomach'.
But St. Paul says not to be drunk...and to be filled with the Holy Spirit instead.
That's pretty good advice, I think.

I agree, there is no sin in the drink. The sin is in the abuse of the drink! A good glass of a fine scotch is nice for me. But getting drunk on it is not only sinful, it shows a lack of willpower, a lack of discretion. There is no respect for the beverage or yourself. As for the rules of God's chosen people you should know that the reason they were chosen was to bring the word of God to you and I. So the rules apply to all. Chosen and gentile are in the shadow of God's wing.

A lot of what God says pertains to everyone else too, and doesn't necessarily need to be restricted to "believers only." In fact, a lot of religions share the same morals with each other, including Christianity.
As for your question, yes I agree. Anyone can drink alchohol, and anyone can realize where their limits are.

It's true, in the book of proverbs it stated that a little wine will help with stomach problems, and throughout the bible it talks about how foolish it is to become drunk. Also, Jesus drank wine and even made some for guests at a wedding dinner, at the request of His mother.

I agree. Drunkenness can cloud our thinking, lead us to temptation, and remove us from what God wants.
There are Christian denominations that permit alcohol consumption, and those that prohibit it. The argument has already been made for the former. The latter may claim that *any* alcohol consumption could lead to drunkenness.
And no, it not only for God's chosen people, but another bit of biblical common sense.

That's what God says, yes, I agree. However, if your liberty causes someone to stumble, then it's not okay. For instance, drinking one glass of wine with dinner, like you always do, if you're at dinner with a brother or sister who used to be an alcoholic and now no longer drinks any.
But what do you mean by your last question?

It's just like anything else, it's ok to have it to a certain extent. The Bible does allow people to drink alcohol, but getting drunk is beyond the limits, it does nothing to further your advance to getting to Heaven, now does it?

Yes. He says to let your moderation be known to all men.
Be moderate not over board(drunk)
Too much, or too little of anything is a bad thing.
Example: Too much weight, and you become over weight, possibly even obeast. and any doctor will tell you people with excess weight have greater risk of health problems.
To little wieght is not good either; cause then your body more than likely doesnt have enough nutrients to sustain the body
This is a interesting idea I realized recently; God has made things to sustain or maintain themselves, if you want something extra or something a little less, it requires that the person makes a concious decisoin to gain more. To eat more or less, to exercise or less, becuase God has made things to maintain and sustain themselves. Not improve or subtract.

I agree. It is a rule for people of all nations. Because it is wrong to be drunk because being drunk you tend to do things that are wrong because of your uncontrolness. But worst of all is a lot of times when you do bad things you don't remember it. Which will get you in sticky situations. So yes I agree.

I agree with the first part of your statement.
Even for Christians to get drunk is to turn their minds over to another spirit other than the Holy Spirit. The fruit of the Holy Spirit includes temperence, which is self-control.
