Jesus is a mythical CHARACTER just like ZEUS, Ra, Allah, etc etc theyre all MADE UP Gods imagined by MANKIND who was too dumb to know any better back then and apparently is too dumb to REALIZE reality today.
JESUS IS A MYTH. Get used to it and start THINKING for yourself.
Heaven is a MYTH and only fools believe in what they cannot see hear or touch. Grow up. Its called FAITH because its not TRUE. Theyre called BELIVERS because its NOT FACT. WAKE UP!

Acording to Islam, since the beginning of time (Since Adam) people on this earth have always been sent a messenger or prophet to preach the law of a ONE God (Allah). Just like the thousands of prophets that came before Jesus (pbuh), those who believed in a single god (Allah) were said to have earned a place in heaven. ALthough I cant say what exactly they did to worship god, or how they prayed to god, I can say that since the beginning of time humans have always been taught to worship God. Oh ya and Jesus was NOT god but a messenger.

Before Jesus came and opened the Gates of Heaven through His death, the people who deserved to go to Heaven went in this sorta of wating place called Limbo, where they waited, happy but not as happy as they would be in Heaven, and they waited until Jesus died, then after He resurrected He went to Limbo and took all their souls to Heaven with Him.

The God of the Old Testament was a murdering, jealous, sadistic, misogynistic nut. I can only assume, that everyone went to hell. Good thing he reinvented himself as a little more forgiving in the New Testament, eh? (Although He is still a bit of a grudge holder, considering He still holds the human race accountable for Adam and Eve.)

No. The way to heaven had not been opened to humans at that time. Those who died before Christ are sleeping in the grave, awaiting a resurrection to an earthly paradise with the prospects of living forever upon it.

No.
Joh 3:13 No one has ascended into heaven except he who descended from heaven, the Son of Man.

Before the savior Jesus came the Jewish prophesied of him coming. But whenever man sinned they were required to shed blood for forgiveness of there sins, like an animal of some type like a lamb or a ram. I'm still studying it but for now that's all I can tell you. But i will say that since Jesus was pure and sinless his bloodshed was enough to save all mankind if they just believed in him and carried out his word.

The same thing that happens to people NOW when they die- they cease to exist!

They rest unconsciousley in their graves where they await the resurrection!

Joh 1:18 NO ONE has ever seen God. The only Son, who is truly God and is closest to the Father, has shown us what God is like.
Joh 3:13 NO ONE has gone up to heaven except the Son of Man, who came down from there.

That is a very good question. What I understand is that before Christ came they followed certain laws and sacrifices. They were looking forward to the coming of a Messiah. After they died they went to a place called Hades and were there until the death of Christ. At that time He went and brought them to Paradise with Him. They are not in hell.

All the people who lived under the Old Testament and followed God's commandments and obeyed him and Believed in the prophesy of the Coming Saviour, yes even the thief on the Cross were saved under the Old Law.

Jesus' New Testament Church was established on the day of Pentecost in Acts Chapter 2. All followers were told what to do to be saved when they had heard Peter preached and asked What must we do to be saved?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them , repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Act 2:47 ... And the LORD ADDED to the Church daily such as should be saved.

Jesus Christ nailed the Old Law to the Cross.

I am a member of the Church of Christ in Coalmont Pa.
