Like a sports injury, a bruise, etc. My son was hit by a hockey puck on his shin last January, and was even xrayed at the time...nothing. Then in April he gets this lump, we check it out and it's cancer, localized lymphoma.

Had anyone else's cancer started due to some type of injury? Just curious because there must be some connection but the doctor's say they simply don't know the causes, but there seems to be some correlation.

Well I did ask the oncologists and this was at Sick Kids so that's all they specialize in and they said the co-incidence is more common that you would think. It must be something underlying that was brought out by the injury, or somehow the body was unable to heal itself...but never overlook something like that thinking it's "nothing"...in our case it wasn't "nothing". He's cancer free and our chemo is over...I pray it never comes back too, it's such a terrible thing those drugs.

If you talk to people who have had cancer...many will say they fell, they bumped into something...my own aunt died of cancer and every swears it was from a "needle touching her bone"...she had gotten a shot and afterwards her arm got more and more sore...ends up it's bone cancer...another woman we know said her daughter hit her hard in the breast...and it was so sore she went to the doctor and you got it, breast cancer...so injuries sometimes bring these things to light, or activate the process. I think it's like a switch that for some reason turns on. They have to find out why that happens so they can stop it for everyone. Smoking...well hey, 300 carcinogenics inhaled daily for 20 or 30 years and you don't know WHY?

I would say that the cancer was already there, and just kind of 'lodged' in the injury. The injury itself wouldn't have caused it- though I daresay it was uncomfortable.

Good luck to your son!

Hi, I'm very sorry to hear that you son has cancer. Unfortunatly, doctors are misinformed when it comes to cancer, as they don't do the research, only the treatment.

The answer to your question is YES! Smoking, continually injurs the the lungs... people get LUNG cancer, from smoking. This is one of the biggest examples that I can give you.

Research has demonstrated that cancer is caused from tropoblasts (although, this is ignored a great deal by mainstream medicine - even though they made the discovery!). These are natural healing mechanisms in our bodies... the unfortunate thing is that they don't turn of, and keep healing... therefore they continue to grow and grow and grow . Why? generally your body has the ability to stop the healing... but pancratic enzymes that stop the healing, are also used in meat and dairy digestion... as a result they can be overburdened with digesting these, and hence cancer starts... (this IS well-researched!! it just is ignored by cancer institutes - they instead focus on costly cures! - it makes them stacks of money!!! they are multi-billionaires!)

There are very successful clinics that have higher success rates than chemotherapry! (The Oasis of Hope Clinic in Mexico, has higher success rates than CHEMO!)

It is scarey to challenege something that we're told by our doctors is safe... (it is the "recognised treatment for cancer" and although cancer can be cured this way, it is dangerous and doesn't address the underlying CAUSE of the problem!) - which is largely diet.

I'm not telling you to NOT give him treatment, or chemo, but there are otherways that are FAR more successful and safe - and it IS scarey taking your health into your own hands.

If you decide to give your son chemo (instead of trying other methods)... and you want to support his healing, the advice I can give is not have meats or dairy (keep the pancratic enzymes to fight the cancer).

don't have foods with sugar as it feeds cancer (which is well-researched)... and buy yourself some antioxidant supplements to support his immune system. it'll keep him strong.

Also, fresh pineapple has pancratic enzymes which help to break down the cell walls of the cancer. which will make chemo more successful. If you require further information, I am happy to help you, or tell you where you can get your own information. But alone making the dietary changes will have a significant impact on the cancer.

i wish you all the best, GOD BLESS...
