The Hundred Years War was fought from 1337 to 1453 between the English and the French. It was essentially over the fact that the family name of those who ruled England believed they had the right to claim the French throne as well.
This war, as all wars do, bled Europe dry for over a century.
It did however give rise and fame to a very brave woman that speaks out to us over the centuries still............
