I have been trying to donate money to some Katrina victims from last year and every time I try to enquire where my donation is going they won't give me an answer. The way I see it is that the government takes care of the black victims enough so I want to make sure this money I'm trying to donate goes to good white families who are still rebuilding from Katrina. Is they're any donation funds and services available so I can make sure that the people that I'm wanting to help goes to good white families?

The first thing you want to do is determine if you need a tax deduction for your donation. If not, pick some people to give your money to directly. If you need the tax deduction, forget about donating to charities. Instead, look for some local, predominantly white churches in the area. Explain your goal and ask if the chuch has any white families in need. Then, ask to contact the family in need. Explain to the family that you would like to offer support and you are going to use the church to do it. Then, donate to the church, which in turn, gives the money to the family. You get the tax deduction, the money goes exactly where you want it to, AND you get to help somebody in need!

i'm white, lived on Indian Reservations for years, working as a nurse, and replaced into discriminated against on a on a daily basis foundation, from time to time even hourly. In my entire existence, I had continually seen interior of sight individuals to be definitely no diverse from myself and had by no potential held a chop up 2d's properly worth of prejudice. It replaced right into a ask your self and a significant unhappiness to make certain that i replaced into the only individual who felt that way.

meh. You knew good and well that this question would irk most of the people on the board. Since the Red Cross and most of your non-profit organizations operate on a first-come, first-serve need basis, the only way to make sure your money goes to a "good, white " family is to personally hand it to them. Otherwise, whatever organization will spend the money as they see fit on whatever is needed, on a color-blind basis.

By the way, if you ever have a catastrophe I hope that every organization that has ever been set up skips over you so that they can make sure that the money is going to a "good, minority" family...or just a family with common sense for that matter...

Okay, okay, okay...

I could see where this question gets a little misunderstood (or maybe I'm the wrong one here)...

But, I think what he is trying to say is that, since the poor people of New Orleans are mainly black, maybe the white people get neglected a little. I don't think he's in league with the KKK, or doesn't want black people to benefit from charity just as white people do... I just think he means that it's mainly black people getting the donations, and maybe he wants it to be more evenly spread.

It is people like you that give white people liek myself bad names...

Have you ever took the time to actually speak to someone of another color? Have you ever sat down and spoke to a hispanic, or african american? Or how about a korean, or chinese?

And one question for you, where exactly are you from? And your family? Are they all AMERICAN born?

No, chances are you are from a english or european nation where the peopel you speak of walk freely just as they do here in the US...

You know its not jus these races that have bad people... As a matter of fact, the smartest man i have ever met in my life happens to be an african american.. Barrack Obama... Have you ever listened to him speak? Maybe your a republican (sure you are) have you ever listened to Condoleeza Rice speak?

They are both very very intelligent people.. Obviously much more intelligent then you are maam/sir...

Are they any different then the "white" politicians that you see???

NO!!!!

And for the white race... How many serial killers, bombers, rapists, child molesters are white??? Have you ever looked at the stats???

The pont im tryin gto make is that there are bad people from every walk of earth... There are bad people and good people.. Its as simple as that... There are poor and welathy, there are intelligent and slow (yourself)..

It just sickens me to hear a white person talk like this because you truly lose the respect of other cultures for all whites across the board..

And i only hope that any african americans that are reading this and are im sure even more disgusted then i am rightr now..

JUST KNOW THAT NTO ALL WHITE PEOPLE FEEL THIS WAY.. IN FACT, ITS 2006, AND THERE IS ONLY A SMALL NUMBER OF WHITE SUPREMECY ACTIVISTS AND JSUT PEOPEL LIKE THIS THAT ARE SO RIDICULOUSLY IMMORAL THAT IT MAKES ME SICK..

I really hope you burn in hell for what you feel...

I apologize on behalf of all white americans for the sickened questioner...

Make sure and pray about it...the One who made ALL might need your money to help any number of the humans born to live here with you on Earth...maybe the Allmighty who created Blacks, Whites, Hispanics, Asians, and the rest will overlook your ignorant zest for discrimination. Please remember that we All were sent here to be as One. Sincerely, A Caucasian Female

SHove it up you @ss and then you know a white person got it. If I was living in the gutter and you tried to give me money, with your attitude, I would rather sleep in the gutter. You are a racist @sshole. Hey and I am white, but I have no racism in my whole body, except for people like you.

from what i heard it was mostly the black people who suffered the damage of the hurricane, since the majority of the poor population is black there, they couldnt afford to leave or get out in time.
