I assume you asked this seriously. Do you know the % of obese people in this country? Little kids with diabetes? I'm not sure, but I think it may be New York-- who is going to outlaw trans fats! Bye bye Colonel Chicken. Some people would say we have the right to eat whatever we choose, but there's much more to it than that. Little kids haven't better sense, & there are huge costs for medical care, among other factors. In any case, I'll take my home cooked gourmet food any day of the week!

Your blood electrolytes can be 'off' leading to myriad health problems, including heart damage. You can gain weight. You can have problems with your skin, hair and nails. You can start feeling a general malaise and being cranky and unmanageable.

Junk food is not known for it's nutritive properties, but it is 'fun' food. It's fine in moderation, but I wouldn't make it the corner of my diet. I can prove simply by pointing at my (fat and acne-ridden) youngest sister that Doritos and Oreos, while tasty, should not be consumed daily in lieu of things like whole grains, fresh fruits and fresh vegetables. Meat and cheese are optional, soy highly recommended. And she wonders why she feels better and loses weight while eating more when she comes to visit me...

You'll gain weight. Your skin and hair can get extra greasy; your skin may break out (zits). Your fingernails can get brittle. Your teeth may rot. Your ankles and hands could swell. You'll probably get constipated.
Your general health will definitely decline because junk food is full of sugars, salt and a lot of chemical additives (artificial flavorings and colors). It is also addictive (see Morgan Spurlock's documentary on MacDonald's and fast food called "Supersize Me"). Eventually, your liver will become damaged (trying to filter out all the toxins) and your cholesterol will skyrocket which could lead to heart or arterial problems.
Junk food: why do you think "they" call it JUNK!?!
