It seems like everything that could possible stress me out has happened in the past few weeks. I was sick so I got behind in school so that did't do so well for my grades and then my grandmother passed away so I got even more behind in school and sport on top of having to deal with that and it seem like I can't destress. I know that when it rains it pours but I feel like i should be building an arc.

Here's what I do to relax. I drink some green tea, take a warm bubble bath with soothing music, I curl up in my bed under my covers in candlelight. I also talk to my friends, one of the biggest stress relievers is to get it all out! Talk about it to someone who cares such as a best friend or parent :) Hope you find a way to feel better sweetie. I'm sorry about your loss.

Hey sorry to here about your rough time, it does pour when it begins to rain thats the truth and always will be!!

depending on what kind of person you are and what calms you down there are plenty of different successful ways to release some stress....

but i would definately recommend working out on your own, it will help you feel a bit of independence and youll feel better about yourself and become self motivated to go ahead and finish all your late work.

or i would say a long bubble bath with a good book and stay relaxed for atleast an hour...NO TV though!! thas not relaxing thats just distracting!

or i would say go to the park and do your h/w there ...because you still need to get that out of the way but atleast you would be somewhere peaceful...it helps minimize the stress you would have doing ur h/w in a normal day situation (like at your house or living room or something)

otherwise i would say talk to a freind about it, venting always lets a load off!

Sometime you have to say f*** it and let it go. Do the best you can. If your in college you could drop something to light your load and focus on the other stuff or set a comfortable amount of time to study in short bursts and then take a break from it. Study like this could be a good distraction from the other stuff.

It sounds like most of your stress if because you're falling behind in school. Take some time off of your extracurricular activities and maybe some of your social time, and try to get back on track. Once you're caught up again, you'll feel much better.

There are lots of things that relieve stress.. Just find what it is that you love to do. Running, painting, writing, knitting and playing an instrument all relieve stress.. It just depends on you. As hard as it may seem, there must be one good thing in your life or something you love to do. Focus on that.

Don't sweat the small stuff. It's all small stuff. See this site below to help you be more relaxed and less stressed. I can understand that you don't want to be a college dropout like Bill Gates.

Take long deep breaths. Also try taking a Yoga class, it works for me. Concentrate on what matters the most in life. Write out your goals and prioritize them.
