Vote the politicians out of office that approved amnesty etc., elect people that are willing to take a firmer stand against runaway immigration...or, face the future reality of an america with 1/2 billion people in it.

Pass a constitutional amendment to make English the Official Language of the United States...before there is one to make it Spanish. Then make them learn English or be deported.

Move to Canada. It's the second best country, only they're so uptight they wouldn't allow the Mexicans to take over.

if illegals can stay here they will be enymore illegals because they will get a social security #, so let them stay that will help the country

Treat them like you would any neighbor. And also work to get programs for citizenship and language skills set up. If someone is so determined to live here that they're willing to risk their lives to do so we might do well to assist them in learning the predominant language and gain citizenship.
People who want to be here that much would make great citizens.

"a better life"? i'm so sick of that argument. i want a better life too. so i am going to sneak into another country and expect that country to accomodate me...hmmmm.... i hear tahiti is nice this time of year. do you think they'll pay for my healthcare and educate my kids all without me having to pay any taxes? sounds good...i think i want "a better life" too.

Allowed to stay? What made you think they were ever gonna be made to leave? I don't think they're going anywhere, at least not anytime soon.
