Its hard to say emphatically how it collapsed. However, the prevailing theory that it collapsed due to a chain reaction caused by reverberations in the ground from the other two World Trade Center Towers collapsing is not only implausible it is absolutely a laughable theory. No where in the history of buildings collapsing on itself from controlled demolitions, had the collapse of those buildings caused other buildings to collapse because tremors emanating from the ground.
From what I saw in the documentary “Loose Change” and from common sense, it seems to me that the building was taken down by deliberate means internally. Most likely this was through controlled demolition shortly after the first two towers collapsed. Of course this is a tidbit of reality that no one really wants to fess up because it would cause us to rethink everything concerning 9/11 and our government.

It collapsed because it was "Pulled". Larry Silverstein(the owner of the building) admitted that on PBS. The term "Pulled" is what people in the demolition industry use for a controlled demolition.

Because:
1) Another building fell on it
then
2) The uncontrolled fire that burned in it weakend the support structure.
